In Need of Revival

Psalm 85

Have you ever had one of those moments when you sit back and take stock of your life and find that it is not where you want it to be? Or worse, not only is it not where you want it to be but you feel so far removed from that place that you just want to curl up inside and disappear. These are times when you need revival.

Psalms like this breathe life into us at times like this. They remind us that there is real hope. This psalm seeks revival. It seeks revival for a nation. But in so doing we see the reasons for hope that also speak to our weary souls.
